Day1:  Itinerary: Phnom Penh → Phnom Oudong → Phnom Penh

This one-day itinerary is perfect for those interested in history, culture, and scenic landscapes, offering a quick escape from the bustling city of Phnom Penh. 7:00 AM – Departure from Phnom Penh.Depart from Phnom Penh via National Road No. 5 (approximately a 1-hour drive). Consider having a light breakfast beforehand or bring packed snacks for convenience. 8:00 AM – Arrive at Phnom Oudong (Oudong Mountain), Climb over 500 steps to reach the summit of Phnom Oudong. (Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.) Explore the ancient stupas, including the renowned Stupa of King Soriyopor, which holds great historical significance. Visit Wat Oudong, an ancient pagoda showcasing traditional Khmer architecture and providing insights into Cambodia’s rich royal history. (Estimated time: 2–3 hours) 11:30 AM – Lunch Break

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near the mountain or along the return route. Popular dishes include traditional Khmer cuisine, especially grilled fish with fresh dipping sauces. 1:00 PM – Visit a Palm Sugar Production Site or Local Farm Learn about the traditional methods of palm sugar production and sample locally made products.

Explore this beautiful pagoda near Phnom Oudong, featuring a blend of ancient and modern architectural styles.

3:30 PM – Return to Phnom Penh
