Day 1: Explore Siem Reap (Small Circuit)
Morning: 4:30 AM – Sunrise at Angkor Wat, Start your day early to witness the breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest religious monuments in the world. As the sun rises, you'll be mesmerized by the intricate carvings and the awe-inspiring central tower. Remember, this site is an important part of Cambodia's cultural and environmental heritage. Duration: ~2 hours.
7:30 AM – Breakfast Break, Enjoy a healthy, sustainable breakfast at a local café, ideally using organic and locally sourced ingredients. 8:30 AM – Visit Angkor Thom (South Gate) Enter through the iconic South Gate, flanked by statues of gods and demons. Continue to the Bayon Temple, known for its 54 towers with serene, smiling faces. Also explore Baphuon, Phimeanakas, and the Terrace of the Elephants, all symbols of Cambodia’s rich history. Midday: 11:00 AM – Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider Temple)Explore the jungle-covered Ta Prohm, where massive trees intertwine with the temple ruins.
